Sometimes I cook.
Usually by “feel“… by the basic senses – sight, taste, touch & smell (occasionally hearing).
Sight: The colours… how enticing it is to present it… and when presented.
Taste: The different flavours of herbs, spices, vegetables.
Touch: The textures, shapes… and the use of hands.
Smell: The mix of delightful and pungent herbs and spices.
Hearing: Keeps me balanced in the kitchen.
So, I cannot promise anything fantastic because I only get inspired by what I’ve tasted and (practically) what I have in stock! There aren’t any recipe books in hand as well… Hence, don’t mind me when I say “sprinkle” “dash” “bunch” “handfuls” “just throw it in” cos even I don’t know it myself. The dish never tastes the same every single time. The kitchen is there for everyone to experiment… according to your tastebuds. What I’ll have you picture is mine (yes, the tastebuds).
Try it out if you want and feedback to me. Incorporate your ideas and favourites to mine. Go ahead… just throw ‘em it and use your (clean) hands!
Yours truly.
